After working on the French and international stages, with the National Classical Ballet of Florence, the Peking Circus and the great names of contemporary choreography, Mehdi Ouachek founded the company Art move concept with Soria Rem, a world-renowned dancer and his partner on stage and in life.
Two pieces were born: “Authentique Utopie”, a duet with Mehdi Ouachek and Bruce Chiefare, and “duo” formed by Mehdi Ouachek and Soria Rem.
The couple made their mark on the small screen with their sensitivity and osmosis.
Inspired by the world of mime and circus, Soria Rem and Mehdi Ouachek staged a duet in which the theme of the couple is tackled, through the musicality of their bodies and a genuine exposure of the performers.

Exit brings to light the deepest desires of three characters trapped in their daily routines.
Based on everyday situations, Soria Rem and Mehdi Ouachek imagine surprising and completely zany outcomes.
One man smokes a cigarette, another looks at him, visibly embarrassed.
“What would happen if the latter intervened?
Combining humor, burlesque and emotion, “Exit” pushes the boundaries of the imaginary.

Entering the world of “Fli” is a dance experience, but not the only one… It’s also a discovery of circus, mime and clownish, tender and endearing characters. For their 5th creation, Soria and Mehdi continue to explore their own imaginary universe, this time through “Fli”, a lunar and wacky character. “Fli” showcases the physical performance of its performers, but above all the emotion that emanates from them, in a poetic and moving journey. A show for children who dream big, and adults who want to rediscover their inner child.

“Fli” is the company’s first show to be conceived in two configurations: a theater format, frontal, and a circus format, circular.

“For almost 20 years, we’ve been sharing and analyzing our personal stories.
All the events that, put together, have made us the people and artists we are today.
20 years together, 20 years of stories and anecdotes about our respective childhoods.
And it was only fairly recently that we agreed on one thing: we spent our childhood running.

We have the feeling that, as children, we were lined up on a starting line.
Drawn by adults, irregular and uneven, it didn’t give us all the same head start.
But it showed us the same objective: to set off in an infinite race to arrive, not first, but ahead of the others.
“Tetanet”, which we later renamed “Preum’s”, grew out of our childhood memories.

Soria and Mehdi sign their most personal piece with “Anopas”, a tribute to the careers of the company’s artists.
In it, they share their own anecdotes through their highly singular style, blending their hip-hop roots with the fluidity of contemporary dance and the circus arts.
Always inspired by Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, they share the difficulties and joys of the artistic path, sometimes with silent-film humor, sometimes with melancholy.
In “Anopas”, the duo invite the audience into the intimacy of their journey, sown with doubts and the fears of those around them, but also with success and happiness.
